As active citizens of Orange County, many County Watch members have additional organizations they support that they would like for other residents of Orange County to be aware of. Here are some of the current events they wanted to let you know of:
09-30-2011 Honor Flight Central Florida was recognized as Central Florida’s Hub for the National Honor Flight organization. HFCFL will fly WWII Veterans to Washington, D.C. for Free to see their WWII Memorial and the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington Cemetery. The maiden flight for HFCFL is in May 2012.
11-19-2011 The UCF College of Medicine held the Inaugural Global Health Conference. Many Medical Institutions across Florida attended the event which featured seminars, simulation sessions and discussions on best practices for sustaining efforts to provide short term medical care missions across the globe.
