County Watch is a formal permanent committee of Orange County citizens, business and political leaders dedicated to the openness and responsiveness in local government.
County Watch was created and is maintained as a “bipartisan” council of the Orange County Executive Committees of the Republican and Democratic Parties. (REC and DEC)
The County Watch mission is to investigate and report for the purpose of public awareness on the activities and agendas of “Non-Partisan” elected officials of the Orange County and Municipal Governments.
County Watch Issues
- “Downtown venues” projects of the Orlando Performing Arts Center, Magic Arena, Citrus Bowl remodeling and repair.
- Appointed Public Authority Boards and other entities that receive public funding (Tax Funding): Orlando/Orange Expressway Authority, Orlando Airport Authority, Orlando-Orange Convention & Visitor’s Bureau, Community Redevelopment Agency, Lynx.
