07.02 2024 Tues AM BOCC
Meeting Highlights:
• Roundtable discussion with Aeneas Lake Irrigation District and Finance Committee
• BOCC and Finance Committee work on contract for fair entertainment
• Discussion of Fairgrounds Rental to High School Rodeo, communication difficulties regarding condition of fairgrounds and cost.
• The Sheriff’s Office patrol division is finally full. County will be terminating hiring bonus.
• Renewal of Utility Franchise for Colville Gaming, LLC – Water & Septic
• Cattleguard franchise for USFS on Lookout Mt Road
• Solid Waste Manager: Green Waste Program progress and solid waste plan
• Public Works: roads and maintenance update. Still working on sign for Loomis area. Difficulties hiring qualified mechanical staff, no applications received.
• Discussion on County's voting power within the WASAC/lobbyist group
• Meeting adjourned 12:31. BOCC not meeting Tuesday the 9th of July
